ABOUT ANGEL + BLUME

Angel and Blume was founded in 2002 and since then we have gained huge experience of many different types of projects and customers’ requirements. Although much of our work has been in East Anglia, we also work regularly in London and further afield in the UK and Internationally.

 

The scale of our domestic projects varies from decorating just one room to implementing a design scheme for an entire building. We take on all room types, including kitchens and bathrooms, and are happy to see these spaces through from start to finish. We start each project by listening to what is needed and then we consider the best way to approach the work.

 

Our corporate work tends to focus on smaller projects that require an imaginative design approach. We have worked on shops, restaurants, a health club, serviced apartments,
show homes, a school and even a steam train, each one giving us lots to think about.

Cate Burren

Cate is the owner of Angel + Blume which she co-founded in 2002. She is an interior designer, a colour specialist and a stylist, with experience in both domestic and corporate design.

 

She works on all the aspects of the interior design for each project from start to finish and brings with her a core team of handpicked sub-contractors including plumbers, electricians, builders, project managers, structural engineers, joiners, curtain makers, upholsterers and other specialists who all bring their knowledge and experience to a project.

 

Cate has an MA in Economics from Aberdeen University, an MA in Design from Central St Martins.
