Corporate interior design
Our approach
Our approach begins by understanding what you need and how you work - only then do we offer creative ideas and recommend solutions. We normally propose a scheme covering all the requirements discussed and including an estimate of cost and timescale. During the creative stage of the work, we provide a range of options for discussion with you including colours, fabrics, furniture and so on and we like to work closely with you at this stage to ensure that the best creative outcome is achieved.
Following agreement of the scheme, we are then able to order materials and commission work as required. We provide documentation at each stage of work so that all parties understand exactly what has been agreed and what the stages of work will be.
During the course of the project, we ensure that we are available to closely manage the work and to keep in regular contact with you.
We have an office in City Road which you are always welcome to visit where we have samples or catalogues of most of the products we offer, however we tend to recommend that most meetings with you are held on site so that work can be discussed in situ.
Budget control
Before commencing work, we establish with you what the budget is and how it will be allocated. Once a scheme is agreed, we ask for detailed quotes from suppliers and operate to recommended retail prices for materials. We document all this for you and we always try to estimate total prices for project so that there are no surprise additional costs on the final bill. Any changes to estimates will always be discussed and agreed with you during the project.
Our suppliers
We use wide range of suppliers for materials and wherever possible, we have trade accounts. Occasionally we use high street shops because we find that they offer a particular solution or a good price that we cannot find elsewhere.
We work extensively with craftspeople who are all highly skilled and reliable. They tend to be Cambridge-based and all have the relevant certificates and insurance to carry out their work. We are able to offer access to:
Curtain-making General building
Upholstery Lighting design
Decorating Electrical Work
Joinery and furniture making Building regulations
Carpet fitting Health and safety
Signage provision Plumbing
Space planning Kitchen and bathroom fitting
Artwork selection
